Week three

Tuesday

We have gotten very far on our second bridge. It will be connected and pretty much done tomorrow! I hope it's stronger since we modified our original bridge design!

Wednesday

We could've finished our bridge today but we ran out of glue and had to stop. It should be finished tomorrow!

Thursday

We've officially finished and tested The Weakling 2.0!!! It weighed 119 grams, and carried 1540 grams. Our bridge has passed! I have calculated that it was able to carry 13 times it's own mass, which is quite impressive! It was so sad to watch our bridge crash :(



Week Two

Monday
We have nicknamed our bridge the weakling! It's so flimsy it broke at least 5 times! Thankfully, we have everything glued together as well as the lasagna glued on. :(

Tuesday
The weakling held for 1 minute and 45 seconds, at 100.1 grams, which was better than we had hoped but only 15 seconds short of the 2 minute time it should've been. :(
We also started our second bridge and got pretty far.

Wednesday
We got halfway through building the second bridge. We have been doubling up a few of the noodles and adding extra support to the underside, which we are confident will make the bridge stronger. We should be done with the bridge by the end of Tuesday since we don't have school Friday or Monday.

Thursday
Everything is going well and were very close to connecting the two halves of our second, stronger 2nd bridge!

Week One

Monday

So far bridge construction has been a very slow process, and we're probably using more glue than we should.

Tuesday

We finished the first side and we were really careful about taking it off the wax paper. We're working fast!

Wednesday
we got a good start on the second half of the bridge, and decided to add one more support noodle in the second.

Thursday
Finished the second half and went back to add middle support on first half!

Friday
I wasn't able to do ANYTHING because someone stole our glue stick AND moved the glue gun into the classroom! I am furious how someone stole our stuff from where it was hidden in a CABINET!!! Now I have NO glue and have no idea what to do.

Later in the period
I got something done even though I was alone. Im taking the glue gun home this time because obviously nothing is safe in this room. :(

Our names are Juliette Jeanty and Kacie Burnett! We are the best physics partners ever!:) We can create and figure out any experiment because we're smarter than Albert Einstein! Some great lies about us are that we get A's in every class and on every test we take, we are the perfect students, and we pay attention every minute during each and every class. Once the school day is over, both of us are cliff diving instructors! There is no mountain too tall or too scary! Juliette has also fought two great white sharks at the same time during an attack while scuba diving! SHE'S INTENSE! In addition to being a cliff diving instructor, Kacie bungee jumps off the highest bridges that she can find. She has even bungee jumped off of the Eiffel Tower! Basically, we're the coolest kids you will ever meet so follow ussss!:D
